Post-Publication Discussion Policy
The Journal of Indonesian Rural and Regional Government (JIRReG) encourages scholarly discussion and constructive feedback on articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion is intended to promote academic dialogue, strengthen the quality of published research, and support the development of knowledge in the fields of regional governance, village governance, public administration, public policy, and community development.
Readers, researchers, and other interested parties may submit comments, questions, or critical responses concerning the methodology, findings, interpretation, or implications of a published article. All submissions must be evidence-based, relevant to the subject of the article, and expressed in a professional and respectful manner.
Submissions for post-publication discussion should be sent to the journal's editorial office through the official communication channels provided on the journal website. The editorial team will assess the relevance, academic quality, originality, and ethical appropriateness of each submission before determining whether it is suitable for publication.
Where appropriate, the original authors may be invited to respond to comments or criticisms concerning their published work. Any published discussion or response will be subject to editorial review and must comply with the journal's publication ethics and editorial policies.
JIRReG does not accept comments that contain personal attacks, defamatory statements, discriminatory language, or unsupported allegations. Concerns regarding research integrity, data reliability, plagiarism, or other potential ethical violations will be handled in accordance with the journal's relevant publication ethics policies.
The journal reserves the right to reject or request revisions to submissions that do not meet its academic and ethical standards. Post-publication discussions and responses, when accepted, are intended to maintain transparency, encourage constructive scholarly exchange, and contribute to the integrity of the academic record.
