Peran Agro Edu Wisata dalam Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteran Masyarakat Di Desa Pulewulung

This study aims to analyze the development of Pulewulung Agro-Educational Tourism and its contribution to community welfare in Rejodadi Hamlet, Bangunkerto Village, Turi Sub-district, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The main issue addressed in this research is the extent to which agro-educational tourism contributes to the economic, social, and environmental well-being of the local community. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consist of tourism village managers, farmer groups, micro and small enterprise groups, and local residents. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Pulewulung Agro-Educational Tourism has not yet significantly functioned as a primary source of livelihood for the community; however, it has contributed to additional income opportunities, increased community participation, strengthened environmental awareness, and provided non-formal education based on sustainable agriculture. Infrastructure development, digital promotion, and community involvement are key factors supporting agro-educational tourism development. This study concludes that strengthening community capacity, marketing strategies, and continuous evaluation are essential to enhance the role of agro-educational tourism in improving community welfare.
